Core Values

Everything we do is
S.O.U.L. C.A.F.E.

Four values move through every project, every space, and every connection we create.

S
Service

We lead with compassion and purpose, using our gifts to serve our communities through creativity, connection, and care. Every project is rooted in giving back and uplifting others.

O
Opportunity

We create pathways for growth, expression, and leadership — especially for youth, emerging artists, and underrepresented voices. A place where talent is nurtured and potential is realized.

U
Unity

We believe in the power of togetherness. By fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and shared experiences, we build bridges that connect diverse people through the universal language of art and sound.

L
Love

Love is the heartbeat of everything we do. It drives our creativity, guides our relationships, and fuels our mission to transform purpose into positive change.

The Soul Café Promise

C.A.F.E. means:

Community And Families Empowered, four letters behind every free and open gathering.

C
Community

Building a place where neighbors, artists, families, businesses and organizations come together to celebrate culture, creativity and collective impact.

A
And

Recognizing that community transformation happens when we connect all parts of the village, its artists, families, organizations, businesses and supporters, working together.

F
Families

Honoring families as the foundation of our communities by creating inclusive experiences where all generations can participate, connect and thrive.

E
Empowered

Ensuring individuals and communities are equipped with opportunities, resources, confidence and support to create positive change.

Through Soul Café, TaylorMade Soundz creates free and accessible experiences where music, art, wellness and culture become pathways for healing, belonging and empowerment. We believe everyone deserves a place at the table, a place where they can connect, be inspired and experience the power of community.

The Next Chapter

A permanent, year-round home for culture in King County, WA.

We're building toward a multi-level cultural arts facility — a consistent, accessible space where artists, youth, and residents can gather, collaborate, and grow all year long, supporting the whole artist from performance to professional development.

This project confronts persistent inequities in access to affordable, culturally relevant creative space for BIPOC and historically underserved communities — turning an underutilized space into a vibrant cultural destination owned by the community it serves.

Floor Three

Artist Living Spaces

Dedicated residences with a separate entrance, supporting artist sustainability and creative work.

Floor Two

Administrative & Program Offices

The operational heart — staff, planning, and the programs that serve the community.

Floor One

Performance & Event Space

A flexible stage for concerts, gatherings, markets, and celebrations open to all.
